COPENHAGEN LITERARY AGENCY represents a stellar list of prize winning and popular Scandinavian authors of literary fiction and non-fiction.

We work with all aspects of an author’s literary career, from domestic rights to translation rights and film and dramatization rights in all territories.

COPENHAGEN LITERARY AGENCY is the result of a merger in 2015 between Danish literary agencies Leonhardt & Høier Literary Agency and Lars Ringhof Agency.

Leonhardt & Høier was established in Copenhagen in 1951 by Albrecht Leonhardt. With Anneli Høier as agent, partner and owner, the agency and its authors played an important role in expanding the international market for Scandinavian literature. The agency was sold to Monica Gram, a partner since 1995.

Lars Ringhof Agency was established in 2001 by Lars Ringhof, a former bookseller, editor and publisher, and he became the first agent to represent Danish authors in Denmark.
