The Panther Battalion
The Fortress of Evil

Panther Battalion is the first book in a brand-new series from the dream team behind the TROLLHEIM books. The team consists of bestselling and award-winning author Arne Lindmo and illustrator Ida Skjelbakken.

In a small town somewhere along the Norwegian coastline during the Second World War, we meet Petter, Hanna, and Sara. Petter’s family is part of the resistance movement, Hanna is the daughter of the German commander, and Sara’s family is of Jewish origin. The war puts their friendship to a severe test, and soon all three of them find themselves inside the Nazis’ evil fortress. It seems impossible to find a way out, but in the courtyard stands an unguarded Panther tank, and in their desperation they come up with a wild idea...
