Author Marianne Solbakken Boine has debuted with a collection of 10 different short stories about sexual abuse and harassment and physical and psychological violence in family relations, at home, among friends, and in society more broadly. She has chosen to write about these topics because Sámi culture is still a culture of silence, where people are expected to remain silent about incidents of violence.
