Myriam H. Bjerkli is a Norwegian crime-writer. She lives in Larvik, in the south of Norway, where she works full time as a writer and publisher.
Myriam has - so far - written:
- Eight books about police-inspector Håkon Haakonsen, published in Norway by Bonnier norsk forlag.
- Two books for children, published at Gyldendal forlag.
- One book about Gambia and one book of poems, published at Forlagshuset i Vestfold.
- Several short-stories.
Her crimedebut in 2017, “Lille linerle”, was nominated to the Maurits Hansen-award “Nytt blod” – the best crime debut that year.
Her second book, "Stella Polaris" was nominated to Sølvkniven in 2020.
"Engelens fall" was nominated to Sølvkniven in 2022.
"Grønnøyd monster" won Sølvkniven in 2023.
"Grønnøyd monster" was also nominated to the Riverton-award 2023.
Myriams childrenbookdebut, Cyprianus, won "Randabergprisen" in 2007. The book was also published at Hjellup forlag in Denmark.
