Dad is always up to some silly nonsense, and every evening he tells me stories. But now he's become a total knucklehead!
Why won't he let me bring Billy and the other insects on the boat we're using to escape when the flood comes?
With my very own NORA'S ARK, I will rescue Billy and all the insects – no matter how wildly furious Dad gets.

"Nora's Ark" is an adventure about a girl who must defy everything to save what she loves most.

"Nora’s Ark" is a modern take on Noah’s Ark, set in the near future. Climate change is flooding the Arctic village where Nora and her family live, and Dad Noa and the rest of the family are preparing an old fishing boat to save themselves and the animals. But Nora wants to bring her best friend, Billy the beetle. Dad thinks insects are pests that spread disease. He says no.

Nora decides she needs her own ark, and she and her dad fall out. The story explores the climate conflict between generations in a nuanced and emotional way, while also delivering a suspenseful and action-filled tale of survival.

The book is beautifully illustrated by Linde Faas, awardwinning and beloved illustrator from the Netherlands.

"Endre Lund Eriksen created a beautiful, moving story, that is also very topical. Wonderful characters, great atmosphere, and amazing illustrations by Linde Faas. What else could a publisher wish for…”
