Frida Pontén
Frida's Color Circus
With pins and wool

Welcome to Frida's fantastic world of wool, yarn and colour! This is the year's most luxuriant book of the year, almost like a little world of its own.

Frida draws and colours, knits and crochets. What she creates doesn't have to be perfect, but it does have to be lush! ’Bless the mess,' says Frida. But she isn't slipshod about the descriptions and patterns. Here, everything is in its proper place, with clear explanations, splendid pictures and patterns for all the projects.

The book is full of different knitting and crochet projects, and Frida also teaches you how to dye your own multi-coloured yarn. There are colourful lap rugs and cushions, elegant ponchos and numerous small items, including some you can make for your smallest family members, who also deserve to enjoy this wonderful, colourful world.

Frida Pontén (1972–) studied fashion design at Esmod in Paris. After working for several well-known fashion and sports brands in Scandinavia she needed more inspiration to her hobbies within among others interior design, knitting and crocheting. This led to the writing of different books and especially this latest one that is supposed to give everyone a possibility to try out some ideas on their own and hopefully get people started to make their own ideas. She is now working as a designer at Odd Molly in Sweden.
