The main character of this book is Shi, a girl who has lost her dad and finds that her mum loses control and is no longer capable of taking care of her. Instead it is Shi who has to take care of her mother. At the same time she tries to cope as well as possible at school and to keep their situation a secret. This is both a picture book and a fiction story.
