Sim is a playful little crab. At the zoo, mother wolf Una tells them about what it's like to live in the Outside World: running across vast plains, chasing in packs through forests, howling at the moon. Sim thinks it sounds great to be able to run away at full speed and frolic with the whole of nature as a playground.
The story is suitable for children from 4 years old. The factual texts at the back of the book can provide many answers about the topic of wolves, and the book is therefore also suitable for slightly older children.

A mythically heartfelt interaction between the animals in the story and with the reader. Right in the heart of the jury.
The illustrations are beautiful and beautifully portray the contrast between the stories about life in freedom and life in the zoo.
A beautiful picture book.
A beautiful and sad story, where the wolf's gaze draws us into the action.
One of the best illustrated books of 2006.
