Flight
11 youths’ stories of their journey, their fears and their hopes

A unique portrait of youngsters who flee from war and terrorist regimes.

I had one rule of thumb before fleeing. If you fall off in the desert, you’re dead. No one will come and pick you up. No one will turn around. If you fall asleep and fall off the truck, it will be the last thing you do.
There are more refugees in the world than ever. Every single day people have to leave their country and their family to get to safety. Millions of these are children and teenagers who flee on their own.
Flight tells the stories of eleven refugees who have travelled over burning dunes of sand, freezing cold waves and across a blackened ocean towards and unsure future. All the stories of flight are unique but still the teens have one thing in common: They want you to know what happens to people who flee.
