Skare

WHEN THE WORLD FREEZES OVER, MAKE SURE TO KEEP YOUR HEART WARM
It’s been twelve years since a massive asteroid struck Earth, and the world has since become a cold and inhospitable place. Skare, a teenage girl, wanders the icy wasteland with Leo, a man with a dark past. Together, they do whatever they can to survive and preserve their humanity.

Hope is rekindled when Skare and Leo hear rumours of a place where the snow and ice come to an end. But can such a place really exist? And can they survive in a merciless world now populated by dangerous creatures and desperate people, willing to do anything to survive? Skare is a post-apocalyptic tale of courage, trust, and forgiveness, and of trying to find a glimmer of hope in a subzero world.

Skare is written by Aleksander Kirkwood Brown (writer of There’s Something in the Barn and more) and illustrated by Thomas Falla Eriksen (of the Squidologi trilogy and more).
