Penelope Lea is a powerful, young voice in the climate debate both in Norway and abroad. She has sat on the board of Eco Agents, led the Children’s Climate Panel, launched numerous appeals and now she has been chosen as a UNICEF ambassador – at the age of just 17.
In her work, Penelope has met people with different approaches to what we – especially children and young people – can do about the climate issue, and the book draws together all these encounters. The interviews offer a broad understanding of different aspects of the climate issue, while giving a general, personal overview of Penelope’s work as a climate activist.
Kristian Hammerstad has produced illustrated portraits of all the interviewees.
This book is aimed at socially engaged 12-18-year-olds.
