Bertil gets nicer

Bertil the Magpie is beautiful. He is clever. And what's more: he's an amazing singer. But he still can't get the stupid cat to hang out with him. Could it be something Bertil said? For example, that the cat is stupid? Bertil clearly must become an even better magpie – if that's even possible. Anna Fiske has written and illustrated Bertil gets nicer, a lovely picture book about communication failure and hubris.

Anna Fiske (1964–) studied graphic design and illustration at Konstfackskolan in Stockholm. Since 1992, she has worked as an illustrator of comic books and children's picture books.
