Eva`s toast

Eva’s Toast is a crime novel about the boundaries between care and abuse, and about love with fatal consequences.

A series of tragic house fires strikes elderly women in Sandefjord. Everything points to accidents: failing health, forgotten stoves, lives that have slowly grown more vulnerable. But when the neighbor of Police Chief Inspector Håkon Haakonsen also becomes a victim of a fire, it becomes impossible to ignore that something is wrong.
