Set in a distant future, Supernova tells the story of a world where death is only a heartbeat away, and humanity’s survival depends on an involuntary blood pact.

The hunter Finn tracks Makina, mysterious creatures that roam the so-called Death Zone. The blood from the Makinas’ hearts is the only thing keeping human hearts alive, powering their blood marrow; a forced but necessary symbiosis to ensure survival.

In the middle of the Death Zone, Finn one day encounters Nova, a mysterious little girl. He quickly decides to bring her back to civilization, but questions swirl: What is she doing out there, and how has she survived for so long? Nova tells strange stories, shares Finn’s fondness for cinnamon sticks, and forms a bond with the taciturn monster hunter.

But do Nova and Finn’s tender pinky promises and her vague hints about her father conceal a darker truth?
