Gudrun Skretting’s debut novel is a funny and heartwarming story about family, friendship, love and misunderstandings.

12 year old Anton gets some information he could easily have lived without.
He is an accident – a result of broken rubber. Anton needs to find a way to restore balance in the universe and create a meaning out of his existence. His idea is to do something selfless that is really worthwhile. With help from his best friend, Ine, he decides to find a girlfriend for his dad. That is not as simple as it sounds.

Gudrun Skretting

Gudrun Skretting (b. 1971) is a classical pianist educated at The Norwegian Academy of Music. She recently graduated from the author program at The Norwegian Children’s Book Institute.
Skretting lives outside Oslo with her husband and three children. Anton and Other Accidents is her first novel.
