Francesca Sophie Giona

Born in Genova in 1989, I grew up in a bilingual environment and translation has always been a part of my life. I obtained a degree in Scandinavian languages at the University of Genova and worked as a freelance translator and localization specialist before devoting myself fully to literary translation. I am currently a full-time translator, book scout, and proofreader working from Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Icelandic, and English into Italian.
My focus in on children's literature in all its forms but I also have a passion for (and a deep knowledge of) musical non-fiction.
