I have translated books on and off for about 40 years in addition to my job as a teacher of English.
It started with books for children from English to Norwegian, then after my degree in French and marriage to a Frenchman, I translated novels from French to Norwegian.

One day I was asked to translate Norwegian books for children to French, and being bi-lingual I accepted the job and really enjoyed it. I( felt Norway had so much to contribute in that field!)
For personal reasons I stopped translating for some years, but now I am ready to start again - especially with books for children.
