Born and living in Berlin, I'm translating novels, theatre, poetry and children's/youth books since 1987. Member of the German literary translator's association VdÜ, active in it's board 2008-2021, the fist 9 years hereof as it's president. I'm translating from Norwegian, French, Italian into German. Some of the Norwegian authors whom I translate are the most important of my practice, personnally and artistically.
