A Londoner by birth, and a graduate in Drama and Theatre Arts, I have been living and working in Norway since 1994, specialising in the translation of contemporary drama.
The 80 or so plays I have translated to date include works by Eirik Fauske, Jon Fosse, Kristofer B. Grønskag, Monica Isakstuen, Katrine Nedrejord, Lene Therese Teigen and Demian Vitanza.
I have otherwise translated works of fiction and non-fiction, poetry, songs and screenplays, and I have a wide range of interests from cuisine and compost to stave churches and orchids.
While the niches within which I work do not always attract publication, theatre productions using my translations have performed extensively around the world.
