I was born in 1983 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Having studied master's and bachelor's degrees in International Relations and European Studies at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), I decided to work at the same university. I received a Ph.D. degree in the History of International Relations in 2020.
In 2007 The Scandinavian Centre was established by the Azerbaijan University of Languages in cooperation with the Agder University and the University of Oslo (UiO). As a result of my desire, working skills, and experience I was transferred to this center as a director of the center. Having taken several courses at the University of Oslo and done research there I started to translate non-fiction books and necessary documents for the Scandinavian program at my university which I was encouraged by.
I have already translated more than ten books across fiction and non-fiction for both adults and children.
In addition, I am a senior lecturer in the Regional Studies Department at AUL.
