High-level whimsy
Ingrid Winter is back, and with her the chaotic family, the hopeless
work place, the overly expensive house which creates yet more
problems, and if that wasn’t enough: The perfect family moves in
next door, and Ingrid’s old grandfather is about to lose it completely.
All the while, Ingrid’s inner demons are prepared to make a difficult

Winter in the World’s richest Country is a freestanding sequel to
The Marvelous Misadventures of Ingrid Winter (2015), which
helped Janne S. Drangsholt make a name for herself in comedy,
and Henriette Steenstrup optioned the film rights even before the
book was published.
