Nattergal

In this debut novel by Kai Martin Brekke, a heatwave has long held the village of Flåm in an iron grip. The summer is set to grow even hotter. Killing hot—and bloody.

An American professor is found murdered on the Flåm Railway. In the hunt for the perpetrator, Sheriff Mikkel Holo encounters an unknown side of his village’s history, a deadly sisterhood, and ruthless avengers.

The nightingale sings in Flåm, putting the investigation team to a test of manhood before the final reckoning at one of the village’s many tourist attractions.
