Lene Lauritsen Kjølner, b 1962, are a Norwegian crime- and feelgood-writer in a genre close to Alan Bradley, Agatha Christie, Jenny Colgan and Alexander McCall Smith. She lives in Tønsberg, in the south of Norway, where she works full time as a writer and translator. She is married to a musician and has two sons. For her debut in 2014, “Høyt henger de”, she received the Maurits Hansen-award “Nytt blod” – as the best crime debut that year. Lene has written nine books in the planned 12-book series about private detective Olivia Henriksen, several short stories, five Christmas novels and four feelgood novels. So far!
