Heidi Furre
The high school

It's the start of the summer holidays, but Maja is all alone. Her father has disappeared. Nobody knows whether he is alive or dead, just that he is probably dead. Pelle and Maria, her Best Friends Forever, have gone away. Things aren't good for Maja. But then her friends come home one after another, and school starts again. High school now, not junior school. Maja dreams of being one of the group invited to parties, getting drunk, kissing and having sex. At the same time, she needs to be the child she still is, going swimming with Pelle and Maria or just sitting in her room chatting.

The High School will give you a new warmth for these unusually turbulent years of our lives.
