Killerinstinct (YA)

How well do you really know the people closest to you?
That’s the question Even Tollefsen must find the answer to when his ex-girlfriend Mari is found dead at Fredheim High School, the morning after the premiere of the School cabaret. One of Even’s friends – and the lead singer in the school band Even plays guitar in - is also found brutally molested and murdered at the same school.
The suspicion is quickly turned towards Even. Everyone knows that Mari broke up with him just days earlier, they know he is frustrated, and that he never got an answer to why she did it.
Soon Even realizes that his father’s accidental death ten years earlier plays an important part in solving these murders. At the same time, Even starts doubting who of his closest friends or family he can really trust.
The next few days will be intense for Even, who must fight against the rumors spreading in the village.  And against a killer who will stop at nothing in order to cover his tracks.

«Enger is one of the most unusual and intense talents in the field.»
