Ben is an architect and literary translator based in Bergen, Norway. Originally from Shanghai, China, he has been working dedicatedly on introducing Norwegian culture (art, design, literature etc.) to China and vice versa. He is also the co-founder of Northing – a multi-functional organisation with a focus on publication, design, cross-cultural events and communication. Under Northing, he started his own publisher - Kinakaal Forlag, and Northing Space - a multifunctional cultural space for promoting contemporary East Asian culture in downtown Bergen.
