Little Pi is hurting badly. Little Pi hurts like a bird that has flown into a window, like a spider that has lost a leg, like an earthworm cut in two. Little Pi is in hospital with a broken arm. Little Pi feels sorry for himself. Little Pi thinks about others who hurt, and he feels very lonely. But luckily his big brother and his granny come to visit.
